Here's the impact you are helping create
Anyone who has run in Bravehearts’ 777 Marathon will tell you it’s more than just a marathon. The 777 Marathon supports a vital cause - the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse - a crime that is experienced by 1 in 4 Australians*.
Since its inception in 2013, the 777 Marathon has raised $3.8 million to support the work of Bravehearts, helping to fund their specialist trauma counselling service for children and families affected by child sexual abuse, Information and Support Line, and preventive education program, Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure.
The direct impact of funds raised has been to fund:
25,333 counselling sessions for children and families affected by child sexual abuse.
50,666 calls to Bravehearts’ Information and Support Line.
316,666 children engaged with Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure, Bravehearts’ preventative personal safety program.
The 2026 777 Marathon aims to raise another $1 million to support Bravehearts’ ongoing work in the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.
Every dollar you raise and every step you take brings us closer to this goal.
